We are currently seeking an experienced Rostering Officer with strong scheduling abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is an opportunity to contribute to a supportive and values-driven team, ensuring consistent care through efficient staff coordination.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate the day to day business operations from checking and responding to emails, scheduling staff.
  • Create, maintain and adjust staff rosters to ensure optimal shift coverage.
  • Create reports for clients with updates on works needed.
  • Liaise with care staff, case managers and clients to manage shift allocations.
  • Match staff availability, qualifications and client preferences.
  • Coordinate replacements for unplanned leave or absences (sick leave, emergencies).
  • Communicate schedule updates clearly to both staff and clients.
  • Use rostering software
  • Maintain accurate staff records, availability and compliance documentation.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication to engage and build relationships with clients, customers and stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with outstanding time management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work as part of a team but also individually with limited supervision.
  • Eager to learn and develop their skills.
  • Quick thinking in filling last-minute shifts.
  • Conflict resolution between staff availability and client needs.
